In Manado, it is a well-known kind of tart made of young coconut flesh and other ingredients such as corn starch, canary, raisin, butter, custard powder, egss, and milk. Literally, it means a coconut tart. The recipe itself is influenced by a taste of Dutch during its occupation in Indonesia, especially in North Sulawesi. There are various kind of klappertaarts, for example a solid and a creamy klappertaart. Our product is a creamy one, and its texture is like a custard pudding. Yes it melts in mouth and it is better served cold.
